Refund Policy

Plain English summary: If you bought the book and you're unhappy, email us within 30 days for a full refund. Keep the PDF. Community memberships have a 14-day refund window. White-label partner subscriptions carry a stronger 90-day refund + keep-all-assets guarantee. After the refund window, cancellation stops future billing but doesn't refund past charges. We try to be reasonable; reach out if your situation is unusual.

Price: $19.99 one-time

Refund window: 30 days from purchase

Email roger@planyourpassing.org from the address that purchased. Full refund issued via Stripe within 5 business days. You may keep the PDF — we don't ask for it back.

Family Estate Circle — Monthly membership

Price: $47 / month recurring

Refund window: 14 days from initial subscription

Cancel inside your member dashboard at /me OR email roger@planyourpassing.org. Within the 14-day window, your most recent payment is refunded in full. After 14 days, cancellation stops future renewals — past charges are not refunded.

Family Estate Circle — Annual membership

Price: $470 / year

Refund window: 14 days from initial subscription

Same 14-day window as monthly. After day 14, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but can be cancelled to stop the next renewal.

White-label partner subscriptions

Price: $97–$297 / month

Refund window: 90 days from initial subscription (Founding Partner guarantee)

If you don't get one qualified inbound conversation through your portal in 90 days, email roger@planyourpassing.org. We refund every dollar you've paid in platform fees AND you keep every asset we sent you — subdomain template, sales scripts, workshop facilitation kit, email sequences, social-post templates, postcard designs. One claim per partner. After 90 days, cancellation stops future billing — past months are not refunded.

Workshop facilitation fees

Price: $500–$2,000 per event

Refund window: Until 14 days before the scheduled event

Email at least 14 days before the event for a full refund. Inside 14 days, fees are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at no charge with at least 72 hours notice.

Affiliate program payouts to you

Price: Variable

Refund window: n/a (you are receiving, not paying)

Affiliate payouts via Stripe Connect are paid as earned. We reserve the right to claw back commissions on transactions that are subsequently refunded, charged back, or determined to violate the affiliate terms.

How to request a refund

  1. Email roger@planyourpassing.org from the email address that made the purchase.
  2. Include the order date, the product, and the reason (helpful but not required).
  3. Refunds are processed via Stripe within 5 business days. Funds typically appear back on your card within 5–10 business days after that, depending on your bank.
  4. For subscriptions you can also cancel directly inside your account at /me — that stops future billing immediately. A refund request is separate.

Chargebacks

If you have a billing problem, please email us first. We almost always resolve issues within 24 hours. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first results in immediate account suspension and forfeit of any prepaid balance, in addition to whatever your card issuer ultimately decides.

Exceptions and unusual situations

Death, terminal diagnosis, military deployment, or other genuinely extraordinary circumstances — email us. We extend refund windows in those cases on a case-by-case basis. Just ask.

Disputes

Refund disputes that can't be resolved by email are handled under the arbitration and governing-law clauses of our Terms of Service.
